Project: Maths Catch-up Support

Educational disadvantage in the community has been exacerbated by covid. This project will enable 48 children to catch up on lost learning and grow in confidence through participation in the “NumSkills” programme.

QfL Spokesperson

“We had a wonderful response from the two school we approached; St Blaise and Stephen Freeman.  Both were keen to work with us.   We have had a successful recruitment drive for tutors for the new school year and teaching will start in September after children have settled into the new school year with their new class teachers. The NumSkills programme will then run for 9 weeks over the Autumn term and a second cohort in each school will be taught in the spring term.”
