Fuelling Better Futures

The Didcot Powerhouse Fund tackles inequality and deprivation in Greater Didcot and the surrounding villages and each year it directs grant funding to different community organisations working hard to improve local lives.

The theme for grants given in 2026 is:

Powering a Healthy Didcot

How can you help?

More than 1 in 10 children are living in poverty in Didcot. You can help by donating money, services or by helping to fundraise, to create a lasting legacy of equality for everyone in the town. You could also consider volunteering with a local community organisation as this is what they reported they most need aside from funding.

Falling below county and national standards

Didcot and the local villages have pockets of deprivation, with many families experiencing poverty, made worst by rises in the cost of living.

Ambassadors

A group of dedicated volunteer ambassadors represent the Fund inside their own business and community networks. The ambassador’s role is to postively promote Powerhouse and to assist in fundraising for the Fund. If this is a role that would interest you, please get in touch with our team via email.
